AAT assesses your accent in relation to American standards. Because it is so comprehensive, AAT is envisaged to be an important tool for human resource managers, team leaders and executive decision-makers to identify current communication challenges or supplement existing recruitment tests.
Completing AAT successfully is a prerequisite to subscribe to other specialized courses from Alaap.
DurationThe AAT typically takes about 30 minutes to complete and can be taken at any time at your convenience within 5 days of subscription.
Eligibility:If you wish to subscribe to the Alaap Assessment Test, you are expected to have a functional knowledge of the English language. You must be comfortable with grammar rules, and must have a good understanding of the idiomatic usage of the English language. Further, you should have studied English as a subject during your school or university years.
Technical Requirements: Participants must have access to a multimedia-enabled computer in a noise-free environment. The computer should be equipped with a working broadband Internet connection, microphone, headphones or speakers.
Environmental Requirements: Since the test requires participants to make voice recordings, they are encouraged to take the test in a quiet environment free from interruptions or disturbances of any kind.
Results: The report of your AAT performance shall be e-mailed to you within two business days from the completion of your test.
